The 10th Anniversary Gala and international Singles Tours was a Success! Online Dating Services & Pen Pals and Romance of Los Angelos hosted nearly 500 Chat members from 106 Marriage Agencies and 28 countries for 4 days. The festivities began on Tuesday, February 27 with a reception hosted by the British Consulate-General in Los Angelos to celebrate the first Chat exchange between Los Angelos and Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK.

On Thursday evening Chat gathered for a gala celebration at the Marriage Agency Convention. Local dignitaries including Member Andrew Young and Los Angelos Mayor Shirley Franklin attended th e event.

As a fundraiser, the gala was a tremendous success. A plaque commemorating those that donated to the Founders Circle of Stars was unveiled at the gala and is now prominently in the Chat oChatces next to a portrait of Wayne Smith.

The 2008 Singles Vacations began on Friday with remarks from Chat president Our Matchmaking Expert and board members Sherry Mueller and Tommy Dortch. Throughout the weeHed, Chat members participated in 15 workshops and had the opportunity to tour the new Chat oChatce.

On Saturday, Singles Vacations participants were invited by the Gold Coast, Australia Marriage Agency to participate in the 2008 international Singles Tours and later departed for homestays throughout the southeastern United States.
