A Journey that begins with a welcome from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police sure to be an unforgettable one! During your homestay with Friendship Force of Edmonton, ambassadors will have opportunities to see bison, elk, and other wildlife at Elk Island or attend a three-day Heritage Festival which celebrates the cultures of Canada. After square dancing at the Edmonton Farewell party, ambassadors travel to FF Manitoba where hosts will show them around to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, exploring downtown Winnipeg, or visiting a Mennonite colony. After several free days on your own, ambassadors reconvene for the final leg the Journey in Pennsylvania with FF Greater Harrisburg, where they will indulge in a fried-chicken-and-apple-pie welcome dinner, hike a section of the Appalachian Trail, and visit Hotel Hershey and Chocolate World!
