We will unleash your sense of wonder among 160 acres of plants, animals and unique habitats from around the world at the zoo. Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium offers alternate ways to see the Zoo- you can take the Skyfari, Tram or Train
July 14, 2020
We will spend the day at Fontenelle Forest. TreeRush Adventures includes a main climbing area for ages seven through adult called TreeRush Adventure Park. The attractions include zip lines, bridges made of cable and rope, and netted tunnels that are suspended between platforms built around trees and poles. Guests are provided climbing gear and after a Park briefing and practice, start their two-hour climbing adventure

We will enjoy a day wandering around the downtown area visiting the Durham Museum, Spirit of Nebraska, lunch, and Heartland of America Park

We will have a relaxing day exploring Lauritzen Gardens, which provides memorable educational and aesthetic experiences for all

We will visit Eugene T. Mahoney State Park. We can visit the aquatic center and outdoor playground, explore the park’s hiking and biking trails, adventure through the treetop ropes course, and climb the observation tower

- Ambassadors should plan to fly into Omaha Airport or drive to Omaha. Anyone flying into Omaha will be picked up at the airport.
- The weather could be hot and rainy, or beautiful in July. Ambassadors should prepare for the rain just in case.
- If you have a spouse or more than one grandchild that will be joining you, please let them know they will be expected to join us for the outings.
