Visit Capitol Reef National Park Visitor’s Center and take a walk past Native American pictographs, see pioneer orchard, and school house, and take hikes

Pick up a picnic sandwich, and head down one of America’s Most Scenic Highways, Highway 12

Picnic at Petrified Forest State Park or Calf Creek Falls picnic area

Arrive at Bryce Canyon Pines for two nights

Bryce Canyon National Park

Take the park shuttle around the park with stops at trailheads and viewpoints

Hiking is your choice

Evening horseback ride in Red Canyon is optional or you can shop at Ruby’s Inn at the park entrance

Dinner on your own

May 7, 2019

Breakfast is included at the inn

Relax for a late departure or rise early for a quick hike in the park or an optional horseback ride near the inn

Arrive in Zion East Entrance in the late afternoon

Drive through Zion Park

Motel in Springdale at the West Entrance with dinner on your own

May 8, 2019

Take the shuttle in front of the motel (recommended to get on early!)

Breakfast is included (but the early bird misses the crowds at Zion)

You have the whole day to enjoy the park on your own. A late breakfast would work!
